GREECE APPLIED INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS

EU countries are:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
35 non-EU countries participating in the EU Digital Covid Certificate system, namely: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Benin, Cabo Verde, El Salvador, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Israel, Iceland, Jordan, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Norway, Panama, San Marino, Serbia, Singapore, Switzerland, “Chinese Taipei (not recognized as a State by Greece)”, Thailand, Tunisia, Togo, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Uruguay , Vatican.
Allowed by showing an EU Digital COVID Certificate with information about one of the following:
a) Vaccination certificate valid for 9 months after completion of the basic vaccination and with no time limit for passengers who have received additional doses (For those who have completed the COVID-19 vaccine at least fourteen (14) days before arrival), or
b) Certificate of recovery from SARS-CoV-2 infection, issued 14 days after the day of the first positive COVID-19 test (PCR or Rapid Antigen test) and valid for 180 days thereafter; or
c) Certificate of negative test result, ie negative molecular test result (PCR) performed up to 72 hours before the scheduled arrival date or negative Rapid Antigen test result performed up to 24 hours before the scheduled arrival date.
Passengers from Australia, Canada and the United States are allowed to enter Greece provided they present one of the following:
a) Vaccination certificate valid for 9 months after completion of the basic vaccination and with no time limit for travelers receiving additional doses (For those who have completed the COVID-19 vaccination at least fourteen (14) days before arrival). Vaccination certificate, the full name of the passenger registered in the passport, the type of vaccine given, the number of doses and the vaccination dates or
b) Evidence of recovery from SARS-CoV-2 infection given 14 days after the day of the first positive COVID-19 test (PCR or Rapid Antigen test) and valid for 180 days thereafter; or
c) Negative molecular test for COVID-19 (PCR) performed up to 72 hours before scheduled arrival time or negative Rapid Antigen test performed up to 24 hours prior to scheduled arrival time.
Travelers arriving in Greece from ALL other countries are required to submit a negative molecular test result (PCR) or negative Rapid for Covid-19 performed up to 72 hours prior to their planned arrival, regardless of their vaccination status or evidence of recovery. The result of the Covid-19 antigen test was performed up to 24 hours before the scheduled arrival time.
Covid 19 (PRC or Rapid) tests should be performed by a public authority in accordance with the relevant legislation or from reference laboratories of the country of origin or from public or private transit, reference laboratories, provided that these private laboratories are certified by the authorized institution. The above obligations are mandatory for all passengers entering the country, including children over 5 years old.
